Ascension Presents

Ascension Presents is a YouTube platform with a number of content creators who speak and share about the Catholic faith. Most notably, Ascension Presents is home to the infamous––and popular among college students: Fr. Mike Schmitz.

FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students)

The Fellowship of Catholic University Students is a Catholic student ministry across more than 170 campuses nationwide. They organize mission trips around the globe and have annual events and conferences (such as SEEK) that bring together Catholic students across the country.

 

USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops)

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is an assembly of the hierarchy of bishops who jointly exercise pastoral functions on behalf of the Christian faithful of the United States.

EWTN Catholicism

The Eternal Word Television Network, more commonly known by its initialism EWTN, is an American basic cable television network which presents around-the-clock Catholic-themed programming. This is their website.

The Torch Project — Catholic Campus Ministry at DePaul

University Church Chicago

Buddhist Resources

The Buddhist Society

This website offers many different classes and courses to learn about the Buddha’s teachings. They also teach Buddhist meditation and daily life practice.

Buddhist Bootcamp Podcast 

This podcast allows Buddhists to reflect on many aspects of life. Most of the topics revolve around self-reflection, self-improvement, and how we can be better about incorporating Buddhist values into our lives.

United Religions Initiative

This website provides a basic overview of the concepts in Buddhism. This is great for anyone just curious about the Buddha’s teachings and the history of Buddhism.

Explore Your Purpose DePaul Student Org

The Explore Your Purpose student organization is the best way to get involved with other non-religious spiritual seekers on campus. EYP operates retreats, reading/poetry nights, and field trips aimed at helping bring intention, community, guidance and peace to the chaotic process of being alive.
